Registered Manager

Salary: £44k - £54k pa

Type: Permanent, full-time

Start Date: Subject to standard notice periods

Location: On site, Carmarthenshire, South Wales

We are seeking a proven Registered Manager to lead a Children’s Residential Care Home that supports children and young people (ages 8–19) who present with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.

The organisation is expanding its care homes with multiple new locations opening in early 2026.

They are committed to delivering the highest standards of care and providing exceptional experiences for their young people, enabling a sense of belonging, with further opportunities to also travel. Their delivery to date is underpinned by excellent levels of safeguarding, stability, and outcomes.

This is not a “step up” position for a Deputy.

An experienced and registered Manager with a robust, evidenced track record in regulated children’s residential care is required, ideally under Welsh legislation (Social Care Wales/CIW) is essential. You’ll lead a small, yet dedicated team that ensures an unfaultable level of compliance, while instilling a warm, aspirational culture that drives outstanding outcomes for each and every young person that reside at the care home.
