HR Advisor
6 –12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Hybrid with travel across the Midlands and South of England
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Position Summary:

A progressive organisation supporting specialist schools across the UK is seeking an experienced HR Adviser for a 6 –12 month fixed term contract, with likely extension to permanent employment. You’ll join a small central team delivering trusted, solution focused support to school leaders and managers.
This is a hands-on generalist role where your expertise in employee relations, safer recruitment, policy development and data driven workforce planning will make a meaningful impact. You'll work flexibly from home, with occasional travel to schools and regional offices across the South of England and The Midlands.
Duties will include:
Provide advice and guidance on employee relations issues.
Assist in disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance capability situations.
Update systems and policy in line with legislation.
Build relationships across a range of stakeholder groups
Promote a safe, transparent and fair culture across the organisation.
What we’re looking for:
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
Proven HR generalist experience within education or a regulated environment
Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
Confidence advising leaders and shaping inclusive practices
A keen eye for detail and a collaborative mindset
