HR Advisor

6 –12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Hybrid with travel across the Midlands and South of England
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Position Summary:

A progressive organisation supporting specialist schools across the UK is seeking an experienced HR Adviser for a 6 –12 month fixed term contract, with likely extension to permanent employment.  You’ll join a small central team delivering trusted, solution focused support to school leaders and managers.

This is a hands-on generalist role where your expertise in employee relations, safer recruitment, policy development and data driven workforce planning will make a meaningful impact. You'll work flexibly from home, with occasional travel to schools and regional offices across the South of England and The Midlands.

Duties will include:

  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations issues. 

  • Assist in disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance capability situations.

  • Update systems and policy in line with legislation. 

  • Build relationships across a range of stakeholder groups

  • Promote a safe, transparent and fair culture across the organisation.

What we’re looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)

  • Proven HR generalist experience within education or a regulated environment

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law

  • Confidence advising leaders and shaping inclusive practices

  • A keen eye for detail and a collaborative mindset
