Energy Advisor

Salary: £26,400 + good benefits

Location: South Gloucestershire (Home based with Travel)

Our client is an established charity committed to increasing sustainability and reducing inequalities within the home, particularly in households who are experiencing barriers to affordable warmth.

As and Energy Advisor you will be visiting people in their own homes and supporting them through energy related challenges including paying bills, debt reduction and providing advice on how to lower their bills whilst keeping their households warm.

With incredible support from a Team Leader and a wonderful team of regionally based Advisors, you will also be attending community events where you will provide practical advice to a range of individuals, many of whom are vulnerable.

This role can be challenging, however, can be extremely rewarding and the individuals you are serving are always grateful for the support they receive.

PLEASE NOTE THESE ROLES ARE OFFERED ON A FULL AND ON A PART TIME BASIS!

The successful candidate for this role will be located in South Gloucestershire and will have an understanding and knowledge of the local community.

Displaying compassion and empathy are key, and it would be useful to have some knowledge of energy and / or energy providers, although this is not essential.

As you will be required to complete administration following your home visits, good working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office and a database are essential to be considered for this role.

It is essential to have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

All candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check which will be paid for by the organisation.

All expenses will be paid for, and any overtime can be taken in lieu.
